I give a hearty endorsement to Judy's suggestion of the Tellus Museum in Cartersville. I haven't been personally, but Laura went with one of our girls' classes on a field trip. She reported it as an outstanding destination. ...and it's in the opposite direction from the craziness of downtown Atlanta!
We got to the CG late last night. we had to park in site124. The people that was in our site(125) just pulled out. If anybody want to know if thier site is empty so they can arrive a little early text me and let me know,256-431-1999. The weather is cold and dreary but its all good. you guys be careful driving.
Wishing I was there already!!! I am planning on coming in early tomorrow. I may text you (Camp Dad) in the morning to make sure no one is on my site #134. I looked on line and it doesn't show occupied but someone could drop in and rent it for tonight. Hoping to be there by lunchtime!!!

Well guys....I'm at work watching the clock....trying to stay busy so the time will pass quickly. Finally got the brake controller installed this morning on the new truck.
DW has the day off so she took the truck to the dealer for the install and now at home finishing the packing and even hooking the camper to the truck on her own. She has got really good at that and keeps the arguing down...LOL
I just get home...change and head out. Hope to get there around 6:30pm tonight.
Everyone have a safe trip and so sorry for those that had to cancel...you will be missed but we will plan to see you in the fall.
