Those of you who called over the weekend to make a reservation but were not assigned site numbers......I asked Steph at Sills to confirm who made reservations and she gave me the site #'s. I updated them at the front of the thread.
Tony, you told me site 219 but they had you down for 110. I have you in both for right now.

Gary,
This is our 9th year for the spring opener and this one has been interested to say the least. The forecast down here is much better than New York and New England. There is no snow in the 10 day forecast and every day is above freezing after tomorrow.
We still continue to have issues but the will be camping March 21-23 weekend.
I am dewinterizing this weekend. Next week it will be above freezing every day and just touch freezing overnight. That won't cause damage. If it will get any colder I will throw an electric heater in there overnight. If when we return it is going to get really cold then I will either put a heater in or run another $3 bottle of antifreeze through the lines.

WE ARE CAMPING NEXT WEEK! This is our 9th year with the spring opener and has been one of the more challenging rallies to plan. French Creek SP closed for construction and after a few comments members heard while making reservations with Sill's CG... I called and spoke to them earlier this week.
They are NOT a year round campground and are not able to accommodate us and our group. They are not removing the snow and ice from the sites so the remainder can melt so if it's not gone by next Wednesday, they were going to to cancel our group. They also have no bathroom facilities open. No showers, toilets or running water. They rented us a cabin with no bathroom and have nothing to offer. We are moving again and no one will be charged by Sill's CG.
We are moving west one exit on the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Lebanon/Lancaster) to Pinch Pond Campground. They have a staff working year round, have plenty of sites and cabins available for our group, bathrooms and gathering room available to us and our pot luck dinner.
We have updated the beginning of the thread and reservations can be made by just posting on the thread. You don't need to contact the campground. I will also be ordering a load of firewood for the weekend. Thanks Lone Lock and Elmira Fudd for your help.
AGAIN, WE ARE CAMPING NEXT WEEK!

Phil....What about the bar? We're all gonna need a shot after planning this trip.
Hey Hey, private campground, so the bar WILL be open. I guess we need to create a special "opener" cocktail. May we should call it the "CC Crisis" or "Snow be gone". As a minimum, I will sneak some Gin into you beer.

We're still in. Put us somewhere. Just let me know which site the campground is going to put us in. BTW, we've had yet another cast change. The girls are still coming, but their cousin Kyra was invited to a sleepover that weekend, so her stepbrother Logan (aka Tigger) will be coming instead. Still 2 adults, 3 kids and one dog. And for once, there's nothing horrendously wrong with the pup, and all the car needs is front brakes, which will be taken care of this weekend.
