I made it home no problem leaving at 1ish. I was going to leave the utility trailer in the extra car parking but they put cinders down on the roads before I left so I just took it.....didn't slip at all going home but I took it easy on 345/82

Had a great time, enjoyed the bonfire which lived up to the hype (after Mike and I killed ourselves trying to get it going all day Saturday!). Let's just keep the fire off of the concrete next time! 8) I loved meeting everyone.
I was glad I waited until about 12:30 to pull out, all of the roads were salted on the way south to I-76 so no problems.
Looking forward to March! I think I booked C35.
I had a great time, even though I was the only one braving it in a popup. Who knew you could turtle in those things?
Joe pointed out that if the canvas got wet, it wasn't going to go above freezing for a while and drying out the canvas would be a pain. I pressed my luck anyways, and got up at 7 am and quickly packed and closed up, finishing tucking in the last of the canvas and closed the roof just as it began to rain.
We took off quickly after that because it was cold and miserable out. It was a good thing nobody was up (except Manivan, who explained to me that I had to almost break the switch to the furnace to turn it off completely) because if we had taken time for goodbyes we might not have made it home. It was very dicey, thank goodness we hitched the camper to the minivan and not my (fake) SUV. The minivan towing, and my 2WD SUV barely made it up a few hills, and we passed a few accidents as well as saw the other side of the 30 bypass shut down. As it turns out cars aren't supposed to face 3 different directions on a one way road.
Thanks everyone for coming, and bringing a little extra so others could bring a little less of things. We all helped out and it was a great time. Thanks Lonelock/Matt for being the first crazy one to speak out, and say "let's camp in the snow!"
It was great meeting Doug and Tracy, and re-meeting Yak. I was bummed I didn't get to say goodbye, but that's just even more reason everyone needs to make it to the spring opener!
