I received the unfortunate news last night that my mom is in the hospital with heart and diabetes complications.  I am very limited to getting time off at work to go back to Pittsburgh to see her. Unfortunately, the only long weekend that I have is the end of July, camping trip weekend.  I have made a decision to cancel our camping reservation and go back to Pittsburgh to see her instead.  We will miss all of you and looking forward to seeing you in October at Spring Gulch.

10 days away!!!  I just printed out that tubing info to read up on and show Lori.  I think it would be fun and enjoyable.

I don't think we will have the prep and cook time available since we are tubing on Saturday. I think we are doing meatballs so I can use the crock pot and not have to worry about timing so much.

So who all is in for Tubing/kayaking?  I'm in with Lori and Nathan but I think we'll do it in our kayaks since we already own them and they may be a little more comfortable.

Also, there is a local Sr Center doing Chicken BBQ at lunch time Saturday.  $8 for half a chicken, roll, applesauce, and coleslaw.  I can reserve ahead and pay the day of.  Dad said he could pick up.  Who wants some?

How about a float on Thursday or Friday so we don't have to fight the weekend crowd? and then another on Saturday?

Sorry, guys, we can't commit to any activities yet. Trailer goes in the shop Monday & hoping to get it back by the wknd. I know it's bad timing, but we have a 6 day trip to Ives Run coming up the following Thursday. The condenser isn't working on AC. Chris & I can live without it, but the dogs can not. If I want to leave the furkids in the trailer while we are biking or kayaking, it has to be cool so they don't die of heatstroke.
