Badseed and SaintPaula have changed our reservation to Cottage 1
I know why, you need to make sure there was a place to plug in the Microwave :lmao:

Ok, we have a 1/2 cord of wood for the weekend scheduled for delivery on Friday. Meet and greet campfire Friday evening with a few snacks, bring your chair over and say hi after you are setup.
With the cost of the gathering site, firewood, morning coffee and other things purchased, we are asking for a $15 donation per site/family to cover the costs. Thanks!
We will also need help with a few things, we will need 7 tables. (6 for the potluck dinner on Saturday and 1 for coffee stuff.) We have extension cords, power strips, coffee pots and other stuff. I'm not sure about canopies, lets check the weather when we get closer. We do have the 12x20 circus tent already for the food area.
We have 5 people bringing Chili.....looks like a contest. :chef: There will
be a prize for First place and a gift for everyone who enters the chili contest.
Here is how it is going to work. The chili contest starts at 5:00 with the
potluck following at 6:00. We'll have a table set up just for the chili's
with small cups and spoons for the judges to taste and vote on until 5:45.
The chili's will become part of the potluck dinner at 6:00. All are invited
to enjoy the Chili's after 6:00. We would like the chili's to be on the table
by 5:00 and the Judges to come by between 5:00 and 5:45 to taste and vote.
The Judges will be 1 representative from each site. Just stop by between
5:00-5:45 and we will issue a voting chip. You will cast your vote by putting
it in the official voting cup next to the pot they liked best. Very high
tech. If we have less than 10 people show up to vote by 5:45 we will then
allow whoever is standing around who hasn't yet voted to vote between 5:45
and 6:00.
BTW....does anyone have a chili themed table cloth?

if we get the 4 inches of snow as predicted tommorrow and Thursday this week i may not be able to get my camper out of back yard to get it ready for this rally. was planning on dragging it across lawn Saturday My vw routan doesn't have 4 wheel drive it does have new tires it sure is gonna be fun to try with snow on the lawn I will have my son take a video for some laughs around the campfire.
This weekend is my get ready weekend as well.....but my RV is at the end of the driveway and my neighbor has a 4x4 F150.....If I get stuck in the 20 feet of mud I have to travel I'll have him give me a tug. Vikking, will you be towing uphill or downhill? If you are towing downhill then I'd say as long as you can get to it you can get to it you have a chance.

Well my side yard is about 12% incline from where the camper is so its up hill just a little. Once I get to the front lawn its level and then the driveway area is down hil. :Dl I made a contingency plan if i cant get it out sat morning my buddy will stop over sunday with his merc Benz gl450 allwheel drive and tug it around front for me
What is everyone doing to their camper this weekend to get ready for the Rally next week?
I'll be replacing the seals on my toilet, vaccuuming it, getting propane, and drinking a few beers while I smile and think about next weekend.
