It took me 3 hours. First 2 miles from my home in east stroudsburg were nail biters. 15 percent grades with switchbacks and s turns. 4wheel low, 1st gear crawling 11000 pounds. Truck abs could not control trailer. Pumping brakes, zig zagging the train right and left and having the wdh bars prevent a jackknife. Cars were behind and luckily none were approaching. I've towed. Heavier trailers on those roads it's never fun.

Wow! After reading this, I'm really glad I didn't tow from home today. Glad you are okay.
Have fun. See ya'all in 3 weeks.
We're back home. Lunch at Sonic again. FYI, the last space near the road is wide enough to pull into with the pup and not block the driveway. Done it 3 times so far. No problems getting back to Baltimore for once. I even got the pup into the back yard on the first try. Everyone had a great time and Alex was even social for a change. All unpacked, dog had a bath and the laundry and dishes are in. We're going to have to do the grilled meatloaf again. I got 2 slices and it was gone!
I haven't eaten at a sonic since I lived in Florida.....13 years ago. I liked it. Yes it can be a challange to find a place to park while traveling with a camper / RV. I pulled into a gas station with my RV and utility trailer on the way home heading for an empty island. Someone in a Caddy came flying in aiming for the pump I was heading to. I kept heading for it and he made a face. I motioned to the RV and trailer.....what did he want me to do, swing around to another pump?
I had a great time. Glad nobody had trouble getting there on Friday. Fun times all weekend. Thanks Mike and Joe and Jamie for the treasurehunt for my beer Saturday afternoon ;D I had a kid who was a family friend this weekend. He and Sabrina had a blast chatting with Maddie and Alex Around the campfire. Nathan also had a blast. Looking forward to the next one :camperkid:

Thanks mdbaird and mariska for all your help with planning the rally.
We had an awesome weekend! Thursday was beautiful, Friday we had about 4" of snow with fun and laughs helping everyone get setup and comfortable, Saturday was warmer, much of the snow melted with fresh coffee and a roaring fire throughout the day, Sunday... many didn't want to go home.
The potluck was warm and plentiful, great recipes as always. Some did a little hiking, a few were biking, there is always geocaching and memories made by all. Oh, we got engaged.
