The weather is heading in the right direction, 6 of the next 10 days should be in the 40s.  Time to start getting the camper ready for the season.

Ill make my decision by next weekend.  Weather up in the pokes is sub arctic.    I have a flat on the hybrid, and other chaos going on.  The weather may improve and there is a st patricks day parade already northwest of me this weekend.  My wife does not want to camp so it most like will be my six year old daughter Isabella and myself (Steve).

That is unless I change my mind between now and then.

I'm feeling inspired and am considering making some snacks to go along with the cocktails at the Friday night bonfire.

How many geocachers are going to be at the Spring Rally?  We recently launched a new gadget cache in French Creek and someone said it was very difficult.  I would like some people to try it out and let me know what you think about it.

Marc S.  great that you can join us again.

There is NO more electric sites available, the campground is sold out.
There are still a few non-electric sites available.

We may try to get both CC caches this visit.

Mike, Cindy, Joe and I have an idea..... a mini cache event for geocachers.  We would hide a few geocaches close to the campground for you to find.  For the younger kids we might make a treasure map to find them.

So.....who would be interested in doing this?

Never been to cg before, besides potluck,  just wondering if any plans are being made as a group event, what area attractions. Outside the park are there?

Hopewell Furnace!,  Daniel Boone Homestead.  Reading Pagoda
30 mins down 442 heading east Valley Forge National Park.  20 minutes to 2 hours with audio Tour.

BadSeed and I will be bringing baked ham and rolls.  Possibly a veggie tray too.  Hope the weather continues in the same direction as it has been these last few days.  Looking forward to the big campfires.  Love them.

I'll be bringing BBQ chicken.  I think BBQ sauce smothered legs and thighs.  BF's in charge of that one. We'll be arriving Friday afternoon, probably around 2-3.

Phil and Peter's large canopy affectionately known as the "Circus Tent" met it's demise last year, so we'll need a few EZ ups for over the food, and probably 6 tables to put the food out. We're looking at a large group again this year, we'll have people take food from both sides of the table.  If you can have two utensils for your pot luck dish it would help speed things up.

10 days away!! Is anyone else getting giddy?  :cheerleader:

I'll be opening up the pup this weekend to see how it fared in all the snow, and putting new rear shocks on the Breadbox.  Still don't have the hitch for the new XC90 yet.  Looks like it will be us, all 3 kids (13, 11, and 10), the dog and possibly one of Alex's friends (also 13).  I'm going to try to leave work early on Friday, but I have a history of that blowing up in my face, so we'll be there sometime Friday evening.  Don't know what we're going to do for the potluck.  We usually do either Cuban Bean Soup or French Onion, but there already seems to be a lot of soup on the menu.
