Peter and I are making a food change. Since people will be coming in at all times on Friday and will be dropping by the Meet and Great Bonfire - we will be providing some "snacky/appetizer items" to go with your tastely adult beverage by the fire.

I can say that the deep fryer is involved and at least one item will be Wings.  :goodstuff:

For the Potluck portion, we will do a tradtional Pot Roast in the crock pot.

We just booked site #1. It will be the 3 of us (Tom, Barbara and Tommy)  And We'll bring Birthday Cake to the pot luck. I turn 50 on the 15th.  😮

I turned 40 actually during the French Creek rally in '09.  It was definitely nice of everyone to join me for such a milestone.  😉

I can't believe this trip is truly 4 weeks away.

I know there was another thread about Pot Luck themes and I see that an alphabet has been added to the beginning of this thread, are we going with the alphabet theme for this trip?

We are in site 8.  Will bring something green and veggie for potluck.  Will bring something that used to live in the wild, and had 8 antlers,  but is now smoked and delicious to fri pm fire.

Does anyone going have a need for a 22gal waste water tote for a reasonable price?  Used maybe once (not totally sure), and if so, just for grey water. I'll bring it to the rally, otherwise it's going on CL.  PM me if you're interested.

OK.  We're bringing French Onion Soup to French Creek, makes sense, huh?  Also, I still don't see the kids listed on the attendance.  3 kids, 10, 8 and 7.

I just had a conference call with the park manager at French Creek.  They have waved the pet policy for all sites this weekend and the ADA sites are available for anyone to book.

:dog: woof woof  :dog:

Actually I may still leave my dog at home.  I'm going to have my nephew and would like to take him on a bike ride.

ooh, nice job Joe!  Are they waving the cost of our meeting site, or do you need us to chip in a few bucks? Also, are you still having wood delivered for people to use and split the costs?

I am paying for the gathering site $60 and a load of firewood $90 because the group is to large for a occupied site.  Splitting it would be very helpful, thanks.

If everyone tosses in $10, that should cover it, plus puts some on the morning coffee kitty.

OK, CampingPhil is bringing his circus tent and we will have to check the weather when we get closer if we will be using additional shelters.  I have a 10'x20' and 10'x10' if needed.

I have a 40 cup coffe pot and stuff, a few extension cords, a few power strips, etc.  We will need 7 tables for food, please post if you have an extra to bring.  We can use a few table clothes also.

Please bring your lawn chairs and dishware (plate/folk, etc)

Big campfire Friday and Saturday, guitar player, trivia and more.

Pete and Phil will have the circus tent, decorative lighting for it, and 2 - 6ft tables.

That's big of them! Can't recall hearing any park do that before, although I've heard rumblings for some time that they're relaxing pet policies.

(/start rant)That's business as usual at almost all of the state parks. I usually try to book ADA because of my disabilities but am rarely successful. It's the exception to actually see an ADA site occupied by someone requiring it. (/end rant)

All ADA sites are available here and aren't permitted to be booked by not ADA until all other electric sites are taken.

So John, when are you booking this rally?  Or are you just coming Saturday to visit and dinner?  All are welcome!
