Wiz, I like your schedule.....
I love my schedule. ;D
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday every week. 6am-6pm (or so).
4 days off every week feels like a mini vacation.
I also get 3 weeks vacation every year (120 hours) and if I use 8 hours a day I can get 15 days off, plus 3 additional personal days off, and paid holidays.
I take a lot of Sundays off and get quite a few 2 day work weeks.
I probably only work less than 150 days a year. Sometimes we are busy and work a 4th day. Lol
I love the time it gives me with the family.
When I am older, I will not be one to say that I wished I spent more time at home instead of working. We spend A LOT of time together as a family.
Wow....I've been gone a week, and so much has happened.
Judy, glad Al is recovering well from his foot surgery.
Campdad, I am so very glad that you and Sherelia changed your minds about the rally.
And Fire Captain, I'm so sad you can't come. It will leave a large void in the festivities.
See you all on Thursday afternoon!

I see this post and wish we could join you....but, alas, we are now 10+ hours away.....so sad :-X
We will be there in spirit!
C'mon, we can caravan.
It's about 7.5 hours for us according to google maps. In reality though, it takes us about 9 hours.
At 484 miles, we would be cruising pretty good to make it anywhere near 7.5 hours. Lol
Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
Judy, hope Al is feeling better.
BTW, I'm going to be updating the front page tomorrow and working on a tentative schedule of events and activities. If anyone has any suggestions or special requests, please let me know! I know that many of you have been attending these rallies longer than I have, so I'm keeping an open ear for tips!
Also, if you've sent me a PM in the last few days, I'm so sorry for not getting back with you sooner. This weekend was William's birthday and we were busy with family & celebrations . I'm going to do my best to get caught up with everything tomorrow. It's sad when you have to wait to go to work to catch your breath - but, I guess a 2 year old will do that to you!! 😀
LadyHawke, you are down south about as far as you can get! We used to live in Boca Raton, and I understand why you can't make this rally. Hope you can get off a few days next time and come north!

I haven't updated by profile....we are now residing in northern VA. Having new jobs = no vacation time saved yet 🙁
My goal in life is to be the person my dog thinks I am.
This is not really "Rally" related but I have a 22gal. portable grey water tank that I don't need. It has been used but I bleached and disinfected it and its good as new. I'm asking $50.00 for it. I thought I would offer it to you guys first. It does not have the metal attachment to hook onto the TV.
