Wow, I missed some posts.  Sorry guys, it has been a busy couple of weeks at work.
First the good news, I am really happy to see that CampDad will be there.  That should add to the fun.  Also glad to hear that Al is in Mod Mode.  That has got to be a good sign.  I suggest that he starts out with a drink holder and a remote pocket and work up from there.
I am really sorry to hear that jimmy won't make it.  You will be sorely missed my friend.
We are really getting close to Rally time now.  I just hope the rain calls it quits for a while.  :camperkid:

^^ Miles ;D ;D

Darrell, Al likes the drink holder idea. He'll take it under advisement.  🙂

Nancy, I know the kids will love your craft fun activities! That's great!

We've gone to the dark side; "kinda".  We bought a '67 Scotty camper.  Very retro, very cool, very tiny!
I hope to have it ready for it's debut trip at the rally.
Can't wait. ;D

Yes we still have the '69 Coleman CT390.  Not sure if we are going to sell it or not.  If we do sell it I want it to go to a good home were someone will treasure it's vintage beauty and not use it as a deer hunting tent.

mariettamodern that's wonderful!! Can't wait to see it  🙂 And completely agree - the Coleman deserves MUCH more than just to be stuck out as a hunting tent!

You know, I understand exactly.  I still wonder about what type home our "gal" went to after we sold her. We still talk about our little popup and how we miss her. (except for the set up and take down), but we do have some great stories to tell and wonderful memories.

I like WALLE myself,  or the Lorax  both are good.

We just saw Brave for the first time a few weeks ago. It was good and sort of outdoorsy. There were a few spots that might be a little scary... But most of the kids have probably seen it once already anyway.

Or, if we wanted to not do an animated movie we could always watch one of my favorites, Homeward Bound 🙂

Funny you mention that, I was thinking Homeward Bound or Charlotte's Web.

I will be placing the tee-shirt order on Monday, Aug. 26.

Joel and Camille, I have your order ready to be sent off, and I am ordering long sleeved shirts for Al and me. So far, this is all I have to go with. If you have an update to this order, please PM me ASAP. We're almost there, everyone!

13 days until we make the trip up there.

3 days of work this coming week (my normal schedule), off Wed.
4 days (Thur.-Mon) of camping and fishing with friends on the east coast of Florida.
2 days of work before a day off prior to the rally.

Looking forward, Matt, to you and Barbara and the girls coming up to GA. We'll be in on Thursday as well and anticipating all the fun. See you soon.

Our friends and neighbors the Hick's (2DD,1DS) booked site 138.
I hope to win the prize for bringing the most friends.

Sounds like Andy needs to sign up for a rally recruiter! What fun to have your friends and their kids join us, Andy & Michelle!

I've been getting invites (broadcasted) from the other site for rallies in nearby states, which is nice but bad timing.

Hint, hint -- to help our rallies along.
